Delete a NVMe/TCP endpoint

Unisphere provides monitoring and management for Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe/TCP) directors, NVMe/TCP ports, NVMe/TCP endpoints, IP interfaces, and IP routes.

Prerequisites

The NVMe/TCP endpoint must be detached from the IP interface before it can be deleted.

About this task

Deleting NVMe/TCP endpoints with IP interfaces attached detaches the IP interfaces before deleting the NVMe/TCP endpoint.

The deletion fails if the endpoint is in a port group.

Steps

  1. Select a storage system running PowerMaxOS 10 (6079).
  2. Select System > iSCSI+NVMe and click NVME tab to open the NVMe dashboard.
  3. Click NVMe/TCP Endpoints (Attached or Unattached).
  4. Select an NVMe/TCP endpoint and click Delete icon.
  5. Click OK.
